The way we live on outdoor expeditions from the ways we take care of one another, the ways we solve problems, cultivate resilience, thrive in uncertainty, mitigate and study risk, stay optimistic and realistic, make thoughtful decisions, stay humble and filled with wonder, listen to nature in and around us, and are united by creativity and play, feel more important than ever right now.

Pacific Wilds aims to empower people to be helpers in this world through trainings that are top notch, inclusive, and deeply empowering. Currently we are running NOLS Wilderness Medicine trainings at our home in Mt Hood and on Portland Oregon as well as around the Pacific Northwest and Hawai’i. Come join us or reach out if you’re interested. We can also bring a course to your organization or school. Courses are taught by Renee and/or the best of the best instructors at NOLS Wilderness Medicine.
